Dehumidifiers Rental

Dehumidifiers Rental

Removing visible water is only the first step after a leak, flood, or appliance overflow. Moisture can stay in the air and inside affected materials, keeping walls, floors, and contents damp long after the surface looks dry.

Our industrial dehumidifier rentals help reduce excess humidity during water damage restoration and drying projects. They are especially useful when paired with air movers, which lift moisture from surfaces and push it into the air where the dehumidifier can remove it. Rent all your essential flood damage restoration equipment.

When to Rent Dehumidifiers?

Basement Flooding

Basement Flooding

Basements often stay humid after standing water is removed. A dehumidifier helps reduce airborne moisture and supports drying in walls, flooring, trim, and stored materials.

Burst Pipes or Appliance Leaks

Burst Pipes or Appliance Leaks

Dishwashers, washing machines, water heaters, and plumbing leaks can release moisture into nearby materials. A dehumidifier helps control humidity while the affected area dries.

After Water Extraction

After Water Extraction

Removing water from the floor does not remove moisture from the air. Dehumidifiers help manage the remaining humidity so damp materials can continue drying.

Mold Prevention After Water Damage

Mold Prevention After Water Damage

High humidity can create conditions where mold is more likely to grow. Dehumidifiers help lower moisture levels during the critical drying period after water damage.

HOW DEHUMIDIFIERS WORK?

1

Humid Air Intake

The dehumidifier rental draws damp air from the affected area into the unit so excess humidity can be removed from the space.

2

Moisture Removal

Moisture is pulled from the air as the unit processes humidity. This helps lower the amount of water vapor circulating around affected materials.

3

Continuous Drainage

The Dri-Eaz model is designed with a built-in condensate pump and 40 ft. hose for continuous drainage, helping the unit run through longer drying periods.

4

Drier Air Return

The unit returns drier air to the room, helping materials release moisture more effectively while air movers continue circulating air across wet surfaces.

Had basement flooding issue and called Restoration Express. George came and helped with his professional knowledge. We decided to not go with the insurance as the damage was not too expensive to repair. George helped so much, although he travelled to my place while won't earn $$$ from my case.

Highly recommend for basement flooding cases.

Restoration Express came to the house to do a mold assessment and very professionally let us know the situation wasn't as bad as we feared, and even fixed a misconnected bathroom fan while they were in the attic.

I was very impressed with their knowledge and service and would definitely use them again!

John Stone

We called George from Restoration Express in a panic as we just noticed water in our basement. He arrived the same day and was able to place fans and a humidifier right away to prevent mold. He was honest, trustworthy, and helped out with cutting some drywall and removing carpet. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a dehumidifier if I already have air movers?

Yes. Air movers help moisture evaporate from surfaces, but a dehumidifier helps remove that moisture from the air so it does not settle back onto other materials.

How long will I need to rent a dehumidifier?

The rental timeline depends on the materials affected, moisture levels, and room conditions. Many water damage drying projects require several days of operation.

What size area can this dehumidifier support?

The manufacturer lists coverage at approximately 1,500 - 1,700 sq ft per day at 85 - 90% humidity. Performance can vary based on room size and humidity level.

Can I pick up the equipment, or do you offer delivery?

We offer both. You're welcome to pick up directly from our location, or we can arrange 3-hour delivery across the GTA for emergency water damage and flood cleanup needs. Contact us for availability and rates.
